Aeronautical Engineering
B.Tech. Aeronautical Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering is an undergraduate Aerospace engineering course. Aerospace engineering is the primary branch of engineering behind the design, construction and science of aircraft
and spacecraft. It is broken into two major and overlapping branches these are aeronautical engineering and astronautically engineering. The former deals with craft that stay within Earth's atmosphere, and the latter deals
with craft that operates outside of Earth's atmosphere. Aerospace engineering field also covers their aerodynamic characteristics and behaviours, airfoil, control surfaces, lift, drag, and other properties. The duration of
the course is four years, but it may be more or less than the prescribed one. The course is very valuable and career originating in the space technology field.
Eligibility
- Aspiring students should have passed secondary examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. These subjects must be compulsory, and students should have obtained an impressive aggregate.
- Next step is of clearing the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E.) conducted by IIT’s in January and May every year. Several other institutes conduct their own entrance examinations.
- Other criteria involve having good eye-sight, acute observation power, ability to handle crisis situations, effective communication skills and analytical brain.
